Services
With a track record of more than 500 projects behind us, we have built up expertise and experience in a wide range of CAD services.

2D CAD services
We offer a range of 2D drawing and drafting services, from individual service consultant drawings to fully coordinated MEP layouts. We can adopt our clients’ own CAD standards or use our own. Our drafting abilities are not just limited to mechanical and electrical building services: please refer to our services list on the left.

3D CAD / Revit MEP services
By using either AutoCAD MEP or Revit we can model all the services for a building in 3D. We can also model the builders work openings, including cast-in conduits. When the modelling is complete, we can run an interference check within Revit to ensure there are no clashes. When using 3D data from various other platforms we can use Navisworks to ensure both the services and the structure are fully clash detected.

Building Information Modelling (BIM)
BIM’s blend of graphics and data is especially good at detecting clashes that can then be eliminated before escalating into expensive on-site issues. It also offers powerful scheduling, analysis, costing and programming capabilities. Please read more below.

CodeBook
Through the use of CodeBook International software we can create fully loaded room layouts detailing loose and fixed furniture and equipment, including all of the electrical services. Codebook is database driven software that integrates with both AutoCAD and Revit to produce coordinated room layouts. Once the database has been loaded with equipment information, individual room layouts with wall elevations can be generated to ensure rooms are fully planned out before work starts on site. Find out more at the CodeBook website. |
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
We are one of just a few CAD companies providing the construction industry with 3D BIM building services. This development of CAD capability offers a number of significant benefits to all parties involved in construction projects. Its blend of graphics and data is especially effective at identifying potential clashes between different elements of a building’s design, and is a very accurate tool for quantity estimating.
Why is BIM so important?
There are significant business drivers for the construction industry to embrace BIM. Of particular relevance is the fact that the UK government’s chief construction adviser, Paul Morrell, has indicated that BIM will become compulsory for all public building projects. A phased rollout over five-years began in 2012 with the aim that all central government departments will be adopting, as a minimum, collaborative Level 2 BIM by 2016.
Our BIM capabilities
Through the use of Autodesk Revit software we can use BIM techniques for the design of even the most complex building systems. This in turn enables the accurate design, analysis, and documentation of more efficient building systems.
Our BIM models can be used for a range of applications, including estimating, tender proposals, detailed design, procurement and facilities management.
